Key features

The IP and IPr die casting machines are solid, reliable and ensure high productivity cycle times. 

Quality: high quality machine contruction, made of forged steel platen with coating to increase hardness, and special steel alloy tie bars.

Precise: equipped with SC 3.0 shot end system to maintain absolute consistency and repeatability of the shot, ensuring highest quality of the casting.

Powerful: IPr with larger platens to meet the increasing demands for the production of aluminium structural parts; increased injection stroke in the IPr model allows an augmented metal load quantity to achieve heavier casting weight, bigger dimension or increased production with multiple print dies.

Productive: IPr (Plus) version can use the injection of the upper size offering a higher injection stroke and force at the same closing force to save investment costs (in case higher closing force is not required).

Efficient: higher speed in closing and opening phase of IPr due to the redesigned toggle helps reduce cycle times.

The IP and IPr models can be supplied as automated solutions: a fully automated cell that integrates all peripheral devices, from the furnace to automatic deburring with pieces ready for machining.

IPr:  Larger platens, increased injection stroke and higher speed in closing and opening phase; possibility to configure higher injection stroke at the same closing force (Plus version)

Quality and solid reliability as standard

Our IP and IPr machines are built using forged platens made of only certified alloy steel to ensure absolute quality. All our platens have additional coating for increased hardness, greater resistance to wear and to prevent lubricant damage.

Tie bars are made of special steel with a rolling thread - state of the art technology for higher tie bar strength.

Absolute injection precision

From 750 tonnes, it's equipped with the SC 3.0 shot end that ensures

  • Maximum consistency and repeatability in the different shot stages which guarantees uniform casting quality.
  • Increased reliability of the injection: the use of flexible pipes avoids breakages that might occur during high pressure peaks.
  • Easier access to parts of the injection system that requires maintenance, this ensures a LEAN maintenance process and increased machine uptime.

Efficiency all round

Rigid construction of the Closing Unit secures better closing of the die to reduce scrap rates and flash.

A quicker die change is made possible with the tie bars automatic removal option to allow more comfortable and LEAN die change. 

 

Operator-friendly

The control system is tailored to your needs. It is based on a standard Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC with software specifically designed for die casting. Its user-friendly design makes it easy to operate and upgrade as it is made of standard control components that offer reliability and availability of supply.
