Based in Amberg, Germany, gh AUER GUSS supplies high quality lightweight metal parts to a range of customers – from automotive, e-bike, and sports equipment manufacturers, to medical technology specialists.

When a tight-turnaround project came up to ensure it could meet production requirements for a world-renowned sports car manufacturer, Christoph Hundseder, Geschäftsführungat gh AUER GUSS knew exactly who to turn to.

Having worked with gh AUER GUSS since the early 90s, IPG HPDC machines (toggle and toggle free) and automated cells can be found in every casting hall at the Amberg site.
These are used for producing parts in both aluminium and magnesium, giving AUER GUSS the business flexibility that they need, and value.
Mr. Hundseder added: “We supply components – often very intricate in nature – made from various aluminium and magnesium alloys. IPG can also provide in-house automation expertise and there aren’t many HPDC equipment suppliers who offer high performance machines and cells suitable for either metal.
